Product Information
P-125
Translucent medium-durometer platinum-cure RTV-2 mold making silicone
Platinum cure (addition)
General Information
P-125 silicone rubber is a two-component, addition reaction, platinum catalyzed system that cures at room temperature. Unlike most RTV silicone rubber materials, P-125 is translucent to aid in detection of voids and determination of parting lines. P-125 is nearly transparent in thin sections and has excellent tear resistance and other physical properties. There are two activators available: P-125 A for casting clear polyurethanes, filled or pigmented polyurethanes, epoxies and polyester resins; and P-124 A casting anything EXCEPT clear polyurethanes (slight greasiness can be seen with P-124 A).
