General Information

P-17 RTV silicone rubber is a red two-component, addition reaction, platinum-catalyzed system that cures at room temperature. It has a low viscosity, is easy to process and its cure rate can be accelerated with heat. It has excellent electrical and thermal properties and is reversion resistant. P-17 used in the potting and encapsulating of power supplies, amplifiers, relays, transformers, connectors, etc. Being that it is a platinum, addition reacted system, it will and can cure in a closed, air free system.
