Product Information
P-574
Soft platinum-cure RTV-2 silicone gel for special effects
Platinum cure (addition)
General Information
P-574 is an extremely soft, tacky silicone rubber gel. It is a two component, addition cure material that is sensitive to cure inhibition when in contact with sulfur, nitrogen or organo-tin containing materials. It can be used in conjunction with platinum cured special effect silicones to produce a realistic simulation of living tissue. It is a colorless, water clear gel that can be colored by the use silicone dispersed pigment >. P-574 also has is a low viscosity that allows for easy mixing, deairing and pouring. This combination of properties makes P-574 well suited for special effects and movie making and anatomical training aid industries.
